The 2019 Mental Health Awareness Week is October 6 through 12. We are looking forward to another week of interesting, educational, and thought-provoking events. We hope to reach all Long Islanders impacted by the challenges of mental health distress, trauma, and psychiatric disability so they can better access needed services.

Events will include displays at local libraries, presentations on legal issues, health fairs and screenings, and a variety of artistic, creative, and wellness-promoting workshops. Please visit the Upcoming Events page on The Mental Health Awareness Week website  for details as they are developed.
